Comparative Perspectives
Comparative Perspectives is a silent two-channel video of two women plaiting, the artist and the other an expert. The video places the novice hands adjacent to the experts hands, forming kinship between a woman in the United States and a woman in Ghana. Within the installation the motion of the hands weaving act as continuous motion like the ocean.
